Eran has leveraged his background as an award-winning advertising copywriter into a career writing for the screen. Coming from a long history of creating very, very short films (i.e. thirty-second TV commercials), he now enjoys writing web series and TV scripts and has written several feature film screenplays, both spec and commissioned.

He also enjoys working on the development and production of commissioned films, branded content, and television as both a Writer and Creative Director/Consultant. Some of the brands he’s developed content or TV formats for include: The Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP), The Grand Ol’ Opry, Fashion TV, Lonely Planet, Spike TV, and Sony BMG.

Whilst his projects span a variety of genres, his wheelhouse is comedy and his experience as Founder of Laugh-Masters Academy gives him a wide breadth of styles, characters, and humour to play with in his constant endeavour to find the funny.

Current projects include:

STAR WORDS, a mocumentary short based on the premise that the iconic scrolling yellow type at the start of Star Wars Ep. IV was filmed in-camera, in space, with real, 30-foot tall letters that were then abandoned in orbit and are now wreaking havoc on society.

THE “C” & BORRACHO SHOW, a web-series about two Mexican puppets who sneak across the border and land jobs as illegal cleaners at a Community Access TV Station in Hollywood. At night they “borrow” equipment to make a show of their own.

SPICE, a cooking/dating reality format mash-up.
